Bryan Danielson defeated Shingo Takagi in the quarterfinals of the Owen Hart Foundation Tournament at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door.
The finish saw Danielson submit Shingo with an armbar.
In the bout, Danielson managed to kick out of Made In Japan while Shingo kicked out of the Busaiku knee. Prior to the finish, Danielson stomped Shingo's head, locked in a triangle and threw elbow strikes before transitioning to the armbar.

With this victory, Danielson will face PAC on the July 3rd episode of AEW Dynamite Beach Break in a semifinal match. PAC defeated Claudio Castagnoli in his quarterfinal match.
The finals of the Owen Hart Foundation Tournament will take place on July 10th. The winner of the tournament will challenge for the AEW World Title at AEW All In.
