Bryan Danielson Says The Blackpool Combat Club's Book Club Has Fallen Apart Due In Part To Jon Moxley In Japan And Wheeler Yuta's Injury

Bryan Danielson provides an update on the club within the Blackpool Combat Club.

Bryan Danielson had previously stated that the Blackpool Combat Club has a book club that helped him, Wheeler Yuta, Jon Moxley, and the founder of the group William Regal stay connected.

He has now provided an update on the book club, telling Justin Barrasso of Sports Illustrated in a recent interview that the current state of the club is up in the air as Jon Moxley is spending time in Japan as the IWGP World Heavyweight Champion and Wheeler Yuta being injured has meant that they are not at as many AEW events.

As for staying connected in other ways, Danielson just hates looking at his cell phone and is not a good texter.

“I don’t know what the next book is going to be,” said Danielson. “It’s kind of fallen apart since Mox won the IWGP championship in New Japan. He hasn’t been at a lot of AEW shows. Wheeler’s been hurt, so he hasn’t been at a lot of AEW shows and I’m a horrible texter. I hate looking at my phone–so I’m really bad at responding to texts. The last six weeks, we haven’t been as deep into it as we were.”

Danielson did note that Jon Moxley recently recommended a book to him so the spirit of the club is still alive, at least.

Fightful recently reported that Wheeler Yuta was dealing with concussion issues. At this time, a timetable for his return is not now. Fans can learn more at this link.
