On Tuesday's NXT, Trick Williams suggested he team with Bubba Ray Dudley (Bully Ray) on the November 6th episode of NXT to take on Ridge Holland & Ethan Page.
Though the offer fired up Bubba, he ultimately declined.
The segment started with Trick admitting that Page took him to the limit in their Devil's Playground match for the NXT Championship at NXT Halloween Havoc.
Trick called out Bubba Ray, wanting to thank him for saving him at the end of NXT Halloween Havoc when he helped against Holland and Page.
Bubba came out and told Trick that no one else helped him because he's the NXT Champion. Trick then suggested he and Bubba team up to face Holland & Page on the November 6th episode of NXT when the promotion comes to the former ECW Arena.
Bubba got fired up and said he may have to don the tie-dye and the glasses again. After thinking about it, he decided that it's not about him and that he wasn't going to take someone's spot.
