Carmella was struck like Lightning (Kid).
Today, Carmella is the most beautiful woman in WWE, but she also grew up as the daughter of a professional wrestler as such, and a lot of time watching wrestling. During WWE’s New Generation era, Shawn Michaels had the looks that drove all the girls wild.
Carmella, who is currently engaged to former WWE Superstar and current commentator Corey Graves, had eyes for another Sean, as she says her first wrestling crush was The 1-2-3 Kid.
When she revealed this, on the Barstool Rasslin’ podcast, Corey Graves says his confidence immediately dropped.
"[My first wrestling crush was] 1-2-3 Kid,” Carmella said. "If you want me to be 1,000% honest, I loved the 1-2-3 Kid.”
“My confidence just fell through the floor,’ Corey responded.
Of course, Carmella also had eyes for The Bad Guy, Razor Ramon. In fact, it was her dad that had Razor Ramon's debut match.
“When I got a little bit older, then, obviously [she liked] Razor Ramon, like are you kidding me? My dad actually wrestled him in his debut match. I loved Razor Ramon, but if I'm being 1,000% honest, the first time I ever saw the 1-2-3 Kid, I was like, ‘Oh, he is so cool,’” Carmella said.
Corey Graves, growing up not too far from the home of extreme championship wrestling, with a big fan of Francine and Beulah McGillicutty growing up.
“I got really into ECW when I was growing up and I think like Beulah McGillicutty and Francine because they weren't like the glitz and glamour. It was kind of like, these chicks are hardcore. I was really into that. I think those would probably be the first off the top of my head,” said Corey Graves.
Now, of course, they only have eyes for each other. Recently, their relationship was chronicled and the reality series, Corey and Carmella, which you can see on the WWE's official YouTube channel.
