Melo didn't miss.
Carmelo Hayes made his WWE SmackDown in-ring debut on Friday, December 15, 2023 with a victory over former NXT rival Grayson Waller in the first round of the tournament to crown a new top challenger for the WWE United States Championship.
During his entrance, a picture-in-picture promo was cut by Logan Paul making fun of the fact that he didn't know who Melo was. Carmelo would go on to defeat Waller by using the Nothing but Net, knocking the audacious Aussie from competition in the first round of the tournament.

Over in NXT, Melo is still trying to determine who attacked his tag team partner Trick Williams several weeks ago. He's also still insistent that it's not him.
