The dream and vision of Eddie Graham and Gordon Solie, and the heritage of professional wrestling are reborn in The Last Territory.

As first reported by Mike Johnson of PWInsider.com, CCW (Coastal Championship Wrestling LLC) has announced today that they have started pre-production in the re-creation of Championship Wrestling from Florida and have appointed Kevin Sullivan to act as Executive Producer and Creative Director.

“The ownership at CCW, and the team we have here, are the spiritual successors to what we created here in Florida with Gordon Solie, Dusty Rhodes, and the countless others who made Championship Wrestling from Florida what I believe to be the greatest territory in professional wrestling history,” Sullivan stated.

Joining Sullivan will be WWE Legend and long-time trainer “Gangrel” David Heath. Heath will serve as a Producer and Head of Talent Relations. Long-time Championship Wrestling from Florida referee Bill Alfonso will also serve as a producer along with Media Relations in the new brand.

“I'm a Florida boy, born and raised, and I'm just super stoked to be a part of something that I've watched and loved my whole life," Heath stated.

CCW has announced that filming will begin in May for an all-new flagship show, and are currently in discussions with multiple distribution partners.

CCW's Executive Director Nelio Cuomo Costa added, "The spirit of Championship Wrestling from Florida clearly inspired CCW: The Last Territory. Dusty Rhodes was instrumental in our creation and early success, so working with Kevin Sullivan and many others in the creation of this new brand is a full circle moment for all of us."

Branded live events are currently scheduled to commence in July 2023.
