Cedric Alexander already has a number one contender but will face Brian Kendrick this week.
Last week on 205 Live, Drew Gulak won a fatal four match to become number one contender to Cedric Alexander's WWE Crusierweight Championship. Their match against each other will be at WWE SummerSlam but Alexander will be in action on the purple brand against Gulak's associate Brian Kendrick.
The match was announced during Raw and on Twitter.
Kendrick is one of the other seven men to hold the Cruiserweight Championship before Alexander as he was the second Champion in the title's history.
On Twitter, Alexander said the match will be a chance for Gulak to preview what he will be facing in their eventual Championship match at SummerSlam.
