Charlie Dempsey comments on his upcoming AJPW bout.
On January 3, Charlie Dempsey will challenge Katsuhiko Nakajima for the AJPW Triple Crown Championship. Dempsey is signed to WWE and competes on the NXT brand. Dempsey is the son of William Regal, who made the announcement that his son would compete in AJPW.
Speaking to Tokyo Sports, Dempsey commented on potentially winning the title.
"Trust your senses and go out there and fight," Dempsey said his father's advice. "If I win, I will become the first WWE athlete to win the Triple Crown. So I will definitely win, bring the belt home, and show it off in the NXT ring. I will be the bridge between the two organizations."
Dempsey made his AJPW debut at AJPW Mania X, teaming with Yuma Anzai to defeat LEONA & Tatsumi Fujinami.
