Charlotte Flair: I Don't Plan On Slowing Down, That's Not Why I Came Back

Charlotte Flair says she didn't come back to slow down.

At the 2025 WWE Royal Rumble premium live event, Charlotte Flair would make her long awaited return to WWE from injury, winning the Women's Royal Rumble match. At WrestleMania 41, the 38 year old will look to become a fifteen time world champion in WWE as she takes on Tiffany Stratton for the WWE Women's Championship in Las Vegas.

While speaking to The Independent in a new interview, Charlotte spoke about her return, noting that she has no plans to slow down anytime soon.

"I don’t plan on slowing down, that’s not why I came back. I haven’t held that title. It’s still something new, and so is [the Women’s World Title]. I was the inaugural Raw Women’s Champion, so these titles match my DNA. Every time one of those is raised... [it affects me], but I haven’t held those two.”

Elsewhere in the same interview, Charlotte discussed John Cena's promo about her father Ric on the March 24th edition of WWE RAW. You can read more about that here.
