Shotzi and Charlotte Flair comment on their new partnership.
On the November 3 episode of WWE SmackDown, Shotzi took on WWE Women's Tag Team Champions Chelsea Green and Piper Niven. She needed to find a partner for the match, and she called on former WWE SmackDown Women's Champion Charlotte Flair. Flair clinched the win for the duo, so they earned a shot at the WWE Women's Tag Team Championship.
In a SmackDown Exclusive, Shotzi and Flair were asked about their partnership.
Shotzi: I just want to address, remember when those lovely ladies called me a loner and told me that I didn’t have any friends? Well, you know what? I’m friends with royalty.
Charlotte Flair: Opposites attract. I definitely appreciate that Shotzi’s an individual. I admire her confidence. She makes me out my hair down…Opposites attract.
Kayla Braxton noted that they got the job done, and Shotzi agreed. Shotzi then got excited, as she said they were going to get weird.
Shotzi: Yeah, we did. We’re gonna get weird. We’re gonna get really weird. Are you ready for this?
CF: I don’t know if I’m ready for this.
Shotzi briefly ran away, and Charlotte repeated that opposites attract. Braxton asked Flair what stood out about Shotzi as a tag team partner, and Flair highlighted her energy.
CF: I admire her energy, and her uniqueness. She makes me smile.
Shotzi then told Flair she loves her, and she gave the former champion a hug as the duo celebrated their win.
