Charlotte promised she would win the Royal Rumble and she did just that.
After coming in at No. 17, Charlotte survived all the way to end, last eliminating Shayna Baszler to win her first Rumble match. This comes after Charlotte was nearly victorious in last year's Royal Rumble match, appearing in the final two.

Now that she is the victor, she can challenge for either the Raw or SmackDown Women's Championship. As of this writing, whomever ends up as champion for each brand remains up in the air as Raw champion Becky Lynch and SmackDown champion Bayley will defend their respective titles in separate matches later in the show.
The match included plenty of notable moments, ranging from surprise entrants such as Kelly Kelly, Mighty Molly and even Santina Marella to Otis making an incredible save for Mandy Rose as well as Bianca Belair and Baszler setting the record for most eliminations in a women's Royal Rumble match.
