Chelsea Green Speaks On Britt Baker's Recent Health Issues, 'I'm So Happy She Took Care Of Herself'

Chelsea Green comments on the health issues that kept her friend Britt Baker sidelined from in-ring action for ten months before her return at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door.

In her first promo since her return, Britt Baker revealed that she had two herniated disks and an injured hip labrum. She went on to reveal that she suffered a transient ischemic attack and was informed it was a warning indication of a stroke and is even known as a miniature stroke.

Chelsea Green briefly commented on her friend's health issues during a recent interview with John Pollock of POST Wrestling. The interview occurred before WWE Money in the Bank, just days after Baker disclosed her health struggles to the world. She kept her comments simple, noting that she would always be there to help her friend and that she was so happy Baker took the appropriate time to care for herself.

"I knew all that. Obviously, as a friend, I'm here for support, whatever she needs. She lives very close to me. So, if she ever needed to call me, she could. But at the end of the day, you gotta take care of your health at home with the people that love you. I think that's what she did, and I'm so happy she took care of herself."

During the former AEW Women's World Champion's first appearance on Dynamite in several months, Mercedes Mone confronted Britt Baker. Baker then challenged Mone to a match at AEW All In, which has not been accepted yet. Learn more here.
