AEW is set to hold AEW Rampage: The First Dance on Friday from the United Center in Chicago. As of this writing, the United Center's mask policy states "Fully vaccinated guests are not required to wear a mask while at the United Center. Masks are recommended for all unvaccinated guests and will be provided for guests upon request."

With the new mandate in place by the city, the policy is subject to change ahead of the event.

Chicago was averaging 419 new COVID-19 cases per day as of Monday, according to city data. That metric was up from 347 the week before, having grown by 21% in the past week.

According to the Chicago Tribune, Governor J.B. Pritzker does not have plans to implement a statewide mask mandate at this time, spokeswoman Jordan Abudayyeh said Tuesday.

AEW is set to hold All Out on September 5 from the NOW Arena in Hoffman Estates, Illinois.
