Yes, today is Chris Jericho's 50th birthday and he’s arguably more prevalent in wrestling today than he was when he first graced global television in 1996 for WCW. Over the years, Chris Jericho has wrestled for promotions all over the globe and has consistently reinvented himself to maintain his place at the top of the card.

Chris Jericho recently celebrated 30 years in wrestling in the month of October. From the Lionheart days of WCW, ECW, Mexico, and Japan, to the Y2J days of WWE, to reinventing himself as “The Best in the World,” to becoming “The Painmaker,” Jericho has stayed on our television screens for 24 years, and always provides a lifetime of memories regardless of the character.

In 2002, Chris Jericho became the 23rd person to headline a WrestleMania and he was able to do it in his home country of Canada when he defended the WWE Undisputed Championship against Triple H at WrestleMania X8. Chris Jericho but also competed in the World Championship match at WrestleMania 26, when he successfully defended against Edge. He is also the most decorated Intercontinental Champion of all time with a record nine title runs in WWE.

As the lead singer of Fozzy, Chris continues to progress as the band just signed their most lucrative deal yet with Sony music in 2019.

Currently, Chris Jericho is in AEW and continues to make everything he does trend from Flim Flam to Le Dinner Debonair, Chris continues to show his versatility while proving that age is nothing but a number.
