There was a reason for Christian Cage having a short match at AEW All Out.
Fightful's Sean Ross Sapp reported on the All Out post-show that Christian is suffering from a legitimate injury. Christian was wearing a brace on his right arm at AEW All Out where he faced "Jungle Boy" Jack Perry.
The match was a short affair as Luchasaurus turned on Jungle Boy before the match, chokeslamming him on the pyro grate and powerbombing him through a table.
In the ring, Christian hit a spear and a killswitch to score the victory.
On The August 17 episode of AEW Dynamite, Jungle Boy attacked the arm of Christian to set up the injury angle.
The nature of Christian's injury is unknown. Fightful will provide more details on Christian's injury when they are known.
