Two former WWE NXT Tag Team Champions are now listed as WWE Performance Center coaches.
Wesley Blake, whose real name is Cory Weston, is now listed as a coach at the WWE Performance Center on the Performance Center's official website. Christopher Girard, better known as Oney Lorcan in WWE NXT and Biff Busick on the independent circuit, is also listed as a coach.
Blake had previously held the WWE NXT Tag Team Championship with Buddy Murphy (Buddy Matthews) in 2015. They were also paired with Alexa Bliss in her breakout role on WWE NXT. Blake was also paired with Steve Maclin as the Forgotten Sons on NXT. That duo later briefly appeared on SmackDown as The Knights of the Lone Wolf, flanking Baron Corbin during Corbin's time as WWE King of the Ring in December 2020. Blake was released in April 2021. It was first reported by Fightful that he was guest coaching at the Performance Center in September 2022.
Oney Lorcan won the WWE NXT Tag Team Championship with Danny Burch in October 2020. Lorcan departed WWE in November 2021 after requesting his release. It was first reported that he was returning to the WWE Performance Center as a coach in October 2022 after a short run on the independent circuit.
Former WWE wrestler AJ Winkler (Alexander James) is also listed as a coach.
Fightful Select listed Wesley Blake and Oney Lorcan as WWE NXT producers in April 2024, reporting that WWE NXT star Shawn Spears was also shadowing NXT producers and learning that side of the wrestling industry. Read that report here.
