Fans have been pleading for WWE to induct Chyna into the Hall of Fame for years as she's widely recognized as a women's wrestling pioneer, having won the WWF Intercontinental Title on two different occasions.

Speaking to Pro Wrestling Sheet, Chyna's mom Jan LaQue said, "I am absolutely thrilled. And so is my husband. We have been invited to the ceremony and will be so proud to be there and celebrate this awesome occasion. She certainly earned this, to say the least. I would like to thank the WWE for giving Joanie the recognition she deserves.”

As previously reported, Chyna wanted to make amends with WWE prior to her passing in 2016. Following yesterday's announcement, Triple H stated that Chyna deserves to be in the WWE Hall of Fame as an individual as well.
