"Miro and I have made the difficult decision to separate after many wonderful years together, and have decided to move on as friends, and hopefully onscreen characters somewhere down the road," said CJ.

The two were married in July 2016.

Both are signed to AEW and were working together on-screen since Perry's arrival in the company at AEW All Out 2023.

Miro has not wrestled since AEW Worlds End when he aligned with Perry, who turned on Andrade El Idolo. Perry was hospitalized with an infection in December 2023.

Perry (formerly Lana in WWE) and Miro (formerly Rusev in WWE) were presented on-screen together, and against each other, during their time in WWE beginning in 2013 when Perry made her debut.
