Duke Hudson has been announced for his first appearance post WWE as part of WrestleMania week.
On March 10th, Pandemonium Wrestling announced that at their House Always Wins event on April 17th, Duke Hudson would be making his debut for the promotion in what has so far been his first announced appearance since being released by WWE earlier this year.
Fightful Select’s Corey Brennan has been keeping tabs on possible companies bringing in the former Chase U MVP, with multiple promotions in Australia and Europe expressing interest in bringing in Duke following his WWE exit.
We are told that the appearance was one that had originally been discussed for later this year, but we are told that Wardlow’s withdrawal from the April 17th event played a part in Duke being booked for WrestleMania weekend. We are told there is not a clear reason for Wardlow’s withdrawal at this time.
Pandemonium Wrestling sources tell us that Duke has been great to work with, and had nothing but good things to say about working with him.
As far as Wardlow being pulled, Fightful Select's Sean Ross Sapp reported that Wardlow was backstage at AEW Revolution, but was not expected to be used. He's been recovering from an injury, and had been in LA working on other projects. However, we've not been told if he's cleared at this stage.
