Two matches have been added to the lineup for the May 1 episode of AEW Dynamite.
AEW announced that Samoa Joe will face Isiah Kassidy on the May 1 episode of AEW Dynamite. This will mark his first match since he lost the AEW World Championship to Swerve Strickland at AEW Dynasty.

AEW also announced that Claudio Castagnoli will face Brian Cage on the May 1 episode of AEW Dynamite. This comes after Castagnoli unsuccessfully challenged Swerve Strickland for the AEW World Championship on the April 27 episode of AEW Collision.
