CM Punk Calls Himself The 'Real World's Champion' On 7/22 AEW Collision

CM Punk appears to confirm what's in the bag with the statement he made on the July 22 episode of AEW Collision.

This week's episode of AEW Saturday Collision was kicked off by Ricky Starks celebrating his victory in the Owen Hart Foundation Men's Memorial Cup Tournament. Tony Schiavone quickly confronted Starks about how he defeated CM Punk in the tournament finals, leading to Punk arriving on the scene.

AEW Files To Trademark 'Parade Of Champions'

Punker says he's not mad at Ricky and admits that he's cheated in the past to gain victories, but entices Ricky by suggesting that he might not be able to live with himself, realizing that he can't beat Punk without nefarious tactics.

Ricky Starks shot back by saying that CM Punk's red bag is as empty as the Louis Vuitton bag he came to the ring with just to show off what he did with his tournament winner's share of the purse. That led to CM Punk storming back to the ring and asking Ricky if he wants a shot at what's in the bag or if he's just like "little Max" and doesn't want him to have it.

Punk then referred to himself as the 'real World's Champion' before they were interrupted by Christian Cage (with Luchasaurus in tow) and later, Punk's good friend Darby Allin, where a tag team match was set up for later in the show featuring all four men.

CM Punk has yet to open the red bag that he returned to AEW with but has continued to hint that it carries his World Championship, which, despite having two reigns with, he has yet to be defeated for.
