Since leaving WWE in 2014, CM Punk has found a new home in Hollywood, starring in multiple horror films over the years.
Punk has always been a fan of the horror genre and has sunk his teeth into roles in films such as "Girl on the Third Floor," "Rabid," and now "Jakob's Wife."
Punk has told plenty of behind the scenes horror stories from his time in WWE, but when was Punk scared while on television in WWE?
"I remember wrestling Jeff Hardy in the Staples Center and he was jumping off a very tall ladder onto me. I just had to lay on the table for an extended period of time, which really makes you think about it. It's one of those things where, I'm just looking and thinking, 'he's really high up there.' You just stew in that moment and I was thinking, 'I should just get up and walk away. Why am I laying here? This is stupid.' He finally jumped on me and I was like, 'Yeah, that hurt.' You want to protect Jeff more than you want to protect yourself because he's the one that's jumping, but you realize that's a 200-pound man hurdling at you from a great height and it's not going to end well for either of you," Punk said on The Movie Crypt.
The match in question took place at SummerSlam 2009 with Punk winning the WWE World Heavyweight Championship from Hardy in a Tables, Ladders, and Chairs match.
Along with his role in horror films, Punk is set to have a role in "Heels," which stars Stephen Amell and is centered around the world of wrestling.
As far as an actual return to wrestling, Punk doesn't want to return and just be another guy doing not-good television in WWE.
