CM Punk is still old, tired, and hurt. He also still works with children.
On the October 1 edition of WWE NXT, Roxanne Perez defeated Giulia to retain the NXT Women's Championship. Perez was able to score the victory with some help from an old friend, Cora Jade.
After the show, Roxanne Perez took to social media and shared a picture with CM Punk, who was at the show to serve as the special guest referee for an NXT Championship bout between Trick Williams and Ethan Page. In the photo, Punk is clearly annoyed with Perez.
Punk commented on the post by saying that he's hurt, old, tired and that he works with children. This is an reference to Punk saying the same thing during the AEW All Out presser in 2022. His comments then led to a backstage fight with The Elite (Kenny Omega & Young Bucks). A little under a year later, Punk was fired from the company after getting in another backstage fight, this time with Jack Perry.
