CM Punk is back in WWE.

WWE Survivor Series 2023 closed with the return of CM Punk to WWE.

Cody Rhodes, Randy Orton, Jey Uso, Sami Zayn, & Seth Rollins were standing in the ring, victorious in WarGames over Judgment Day (Finn Balor, Dominik Mysterio, Damian Priest, & JD McDonagh) & Drew McIntyre. After the closing graphic, "Cult of Personality" hit and CM Punk entered the arena.

This was Punk's first appearance in WWE since 2014 when he walked out of the company following the Royal Rumble 2014.

Punk was away from wrestling after leaving WWE, but returned in August 2021 when he signed with AEW. He spent just over two years in AEW, winning the AEW World Title on multiple occasions, before he was fired following an incident at AEW All In with Jack Perry.

There were chants of "CM Punk" during the men's WarGames match, which closed the show. Randy Orton, who was announced as the fifth member of Team Cody, did not show up until it was his time to enter the cage and it was teased throughout the night that he wasn't there.

In the weeks leading to WWE Survivor Series, WWE had denied that Punk would be at the event.

Fightful Select will have more information on Punk's return when it is known.
