The CMLL Women's Grand Prix has been announced.
CMLL announced on CMLL Informa the date of the 2024 edition of the Women's Grand Prix. The signature match is set to be a 20-woman Elimination Match between Team Mexico and Team World. The last remaining participant will win the tournament.
The event is set to take place on October 25th, 2024 and it will air live from the Mythical Arena Mexico in Mexico City, Distrito Federal, Mexico. Furthermore, the first participant has also been announced.
CMLL confirmed that 2023 Grand Prix winner, former TNA Knockout's Champion, and TNA World Champion Tessa Blanchard as the first participant of the tournament. She beat Stephanie Vaquer to win the tournament in 2023.

CMLL will also host the 2024 Men's Grand Prix on August 23rd, with Team World (Claudio Castagnoli, Kyle Fletcher, Davey Boy Smith, Mansoor, Yota Tsuji, Ikuro Kwon, Flip Gordon, Robbie X, AKIRA, and Rocky Romero) facing Team Mexico (Máscara Dorada, Volador Jr, Esfinge, Euforia, Valiente, Templario, Místico, Titán, Ultimo Guerrero, and Atlantis Jr).
Before the Women's Grand Prix, CMLL will host their 91st Anniversary show on September 13th, with the event will be headlined by Hechicero facing El Valiente, Euforia, and Esfinge in a Mask Quadrangular. Plus, Mistico will face Chris Jericho. More information is available here.
