Persephone is on her way to the Tokyo Dome.
On a special edition of the December 13th episode of CMLL's "Viernes Espectacular" show, CMLL hosted a qualifier match featuring the CMLL World Women's Champion Zeuxis, CMLL Women's National Champion Sanely, the 2024 CMLL Women's Universal Champion Persephone and the former National Women's Champion Reyna Isis with the winner getting a spot in the Women's International Cup Match at NJPW's event "WrestleDynasty".
After a hard-hitting match between the four women, the finish came when Persephone hit a superplex on Isis to pick up the win. Persephone will now represent CMLL in the Women's International Cup Finals, where she will face ROH representative Athena and the representatives of World of STARDOM and All Elite Wrestling at WrestleDynasty.
