CNN Founder Ted Turner Reveals That He's Suffering From Lewy Body Dementia

Media mogul Ted Turner who has been involved in many projects on the political side of the world, pro wrestling and mass media revealed during an interview with 'CBS Sunday Morning' that he is currently suffering from Lewy Body Dementia. Turner, who is 79-years old and turns 80 this coming November described his case of Lewy Body Dementia as a "mild case of Alzheimer's".

“It’s a mild case of what people have as Alzheimer’s. It’s similar to that, but not nearly as bad. Alzheimer’s is fatal,” He continued, “Thank goodness I don’t have that. But, I also have got, lets — the one that’s — I can’t remember the name of it,” he said before adding, “Dementia. I can’t remember what my disease is.”

Lewy Body Dementia is a disease that affects chemicals in the brain which can lead to an individual having trouble thinking, moving around, can affect one's behavior and their mood as well. The wife of late actor and comedian Robin Williams stated that Williams suffered from Lewy Body Dementia before sadly taking his own life in 2014. 

Ted Turner shared that some of the symptoms he's been dealing with as a result of the disease are tiredness, exhaustion and he can become forgetful at times.
