Cody Explains His Neck Tattoo, Brandi Rhodes & Tony Khan Comment

The biggest surprise coming out of AEW Revolution wasn't the result of any match, it was Cody revealing his new neck tattoo.

Cody got the Nightmare Family logo tattooed on his neck and it's all anyone could talk about during his match with MJF. Once AEW Revolution was over, Cody's wife Brandi Rhodes was asked about his new ink in the media scrum

She replied, "I’m the one person that doesn’t like the neck tattoo, I don’t like it. I’ve said it, there it is. Sorry, I don't. I know a lot of wives like to be really hands-on. My husband makes his own decisions, he’s allowed to make his own decisions. So, if I decided to do something crazy, he can just let me make my own decisions."

Cody's boss Tony Khan was also asked about the neck tattoo in the media scrum.

"It's a mixed choice. For some mainstream roles, it's gonna make it hard to be like Bruce Wayne. But for a wrestling brand, Cody's presentation and instincts are off the charts. Before we even started AEW, I feel as a wrestler he's gone so far. I told him I support whatever he wants to do. I told him it could be badass for wrestling but it could be a little hindrance if he wanted to do mainstream roles. But he wants to be a badass wrestler."

Cody finally addressed the tattoo in an Instagram post, saying he wears many brands and he wanted to make sure his was one of them. He also noted more details will be provided on the upcoming Road To Denver episode.
