Cody is coming back for it.
At Ring Of Honor's 'Final Battle' PPV in December of 2017 Dalton Castle ended the six-month reign of "The American Nightmare" Cody as ROH World Champion. During Cody's reign he proclaimed that with him as champion he was bringing ROH profits the the company had never seen before and was also adding an extra dab of prestige to the title. On-top of that Cody added an actual ring of Honor to his attire that he wore to the ring along with the ROH World Title.
The ROH World Title was the first top championship that Cody won throughout his eleven years as a professional wrestler. Cody won the title at last year's 'Best In The World' PPV where he defeated Christopher Daniels with a "Cross-Rhodes" for the victory.
On a recent episode of Ring Of Honor television Cody announced that he will be receiving his rematch for the ROH World Championship at the same event that he won his first; 'Best In The World' on June 29th at the 'UMBC Event Center' in Baltimore, MD.
