Cody Rhodes thinks the game is coming to an end.
Despite many fans thinking otherwise Roman Reigns was able to defeat Cody Rhodes in the main event of night two of WrestleMania 39 in April. While speaking at the post-show press conference, Reigns said that the Bloodline story is only in the third inning, citing that there was so much left to do with the story.
At the SummerSlam post-show press conference, Paul Heyman stated that the story is still in the third inning, despite the fact that there was four months in between both events.
Cody Rhodes seemingly thinks the game is starting to wind up. On the September 25 episode of WWE Raw, Rhodes addressed Jey Uso's arrival to Monday Night Raw and noted that he might have made the move partially for his own selfish gain. Moments later, Rhodes also said that he thinks the story is no longer in the third inning.
