Cody Rhodes wants to become the face that runs the place in WWE.

Cody Rhodes has created a tremendous bond with the WWE Universe upon returning to the company in 2022. Cody Rhodes has continued to check off many milestones in this journey, but during a recent interview with Justin Barrasso of Sports Illustrated, Rhodes that being the overall face of WWE is the next level he wants to attain.

“The milestones keep building,” said Rhodes. “We keep climbing to new levels. Now the question I keep asking myself is, ‘Who is the face of the place?’ That’s what I want. That’s another level I need to attain. Hopefully, that starts at the Royal Rumble.”

Should Cody Rhodes win the Royal Rumble, he will become only the fourth man to win the annual spectacular two years in a row. he would join the likes of Shawn Michaels, Hulk Hogan, and Stone Cold Steve Austin.

However, this year's Road to WrestleMania has gotten bumpy for Cody as the returns of The Rock and CM Punk to WWE have added potential wrinkles to the story that Cody might not have been expecting when he set the Royal Rumble as his target following WrestleMania 39.
