Washington Capitals superstar Alex Ovechkin made history on Sunday, scoring career goal number 895.
Ovechkin surpassed Wayne Gretzky with his power play goal in the second period against the New York Islanders. The game was stopped and a ceremony, which Gretzky was in attendance for, was held on the ice.
During the ceremony, a video aired with stars and legends from sports across the world appearing to congratulate Ovi.
Michael Jordan, LeBron James, Derek Jeter, Vince Vaughn, Danny DeVito, Steve Carell, and more appeared in the video.
Among the names was Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes, who said, "To be the man, you have to beat the man. You sir, are now the man."
