Rhodes said that if it was up to him, he wouldn't wait until SummerSlam, he would fight Solo on WWE SmackDown. Cody was then attacked by The Bloodline (Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa, & Jacob Fatu) before Randy Orton made the save.

Orton and Rhodes were still at a numbers disadvantage, allowing The Bloodline to take control and continue their assault. The Bloodline put Orton through a table, forcing Rhodes to watch.

Kevin Owens was absent as he was told by Orton to stay home and be with his family. Owens revealed last Friday that his mom had been in the hospital.

Before Rhodes came out, Solo made the crowd acknowledge him, and when the crowd cheered for Roman Reigns, Solo said they didn't deserve Roman. He also stated that if Roman returns, Roman would acknowledge him.
