Cody Rhodes addresses the crowd after WWE Raw.
WWE Raw closed with Drew McIntyre attacking Cody Rhodes after he was victorious against Shinsuke Nakamura in a bull rope match. After Raw went off the air, Sami Zayn made the save for Cody.
Sami then grabbed the mic and noted how everyone had been talking about Cody over the weekend and had been chanting "We Want Cody." Sami then prompted a "We Want Cody" chant before Cody spoke.
"They're freaking out right now because I'm bleeding, so I definitely have to get it looked at. Those three words, well, all I can say is this, since I was a little boy who grew up loving everything. For you to want me is special because I have always wanted you. I love you guys so much. I'm sorry I'm an emotional mess," Cody said, before asking the crowd to cheer for Sami for saving him.

"We Want Cody" was trending over the weekend after Cody stepped aside on Friday's WWE SmackDown and paved way for The Rock to confront Roman Reigns, seemingly setting up a WrestleMania 40 showdown between the two.
WWE has not confirmed Rock vs. Reigns will happen at WrestleMania 40.
Cody has asked fans to "trust him" as they continue to support him.
