Cody Rhodes reaches a big milestone.
On Thursday, October 24, Cody Rhodes' reign with the Undisputed WWE Championship reached the 200 day mark. The reign began during night two of WrestleMania XL, as Rhodes overcame The Bloodline in a Bloodline Rules match to defeat Roman Reigns for the championship.
Since then, Rhodes has defended the title against stars like AJ Styles, Logan Paul, Solo Sikoa, and Kevin Owens on various premium live events. The title was also defended on the September 13 edition of SmackDown, as Sikoa unsuccessfully challenged for the belt again in a Steel Cage bout.
When it comes to dark matches and untelevised live events, Rhodes has defended the belt against the likes of Dominik Mysterio, Jacob Fatu, Austin Theory, Carmelo Hayes, Shinsuke Nakamura, and Santos Escobar.
As of publish time, this is the second longest major singles title reign of Rhodes' career. That record is currently held by his 236 day reign with the WWE Intercontinental Championship that occured in 2011-2012.
