A lot has been made about "finishing the story," and that's the theme of WWE 2K24, which features Cody Rhodes on the cover of the game.
Many fans hope that Cody will get to finish his story at WrestleMania 40 after failing to defeat Roman Reigns in the main event of WrestleMania 39.
One possible roadblock for Cody is The Rock, who returned to WWE at WWE Raw Day One and made headlines when he mentioned sitting at the Head of the Table.
Speaking to Marc Raimondi of ESPN, Cody was asked about The Rock.
"I don't consider him in my way," Rhodes said. "Maybe he is, and I'm being naive to it. Maybe he maybe he wants to get in, I don't know. But I don't consider him in my way. Again, The Rock is one of the main reasons we're here today. Nothing but respect. But also at the same time, I have to have the respect for myself to know where I'd like to go."
Rhodes previously said that he would not be flinching whether it's The Rock or CM Punk in his way.
Rhodes and Punk will go face-to-face on Monday's WWE Raw. Fightful will have live coverage of the show beginning at 8 p.m. ET on Monday.
