Cody Rhodes is ready for tonight's Friday Night SmackDown.
At the WWE Royal Rumble Premium Live Event last weekend, Cody Rhodes defended his WWE Championship vs Kevin Owens in a brutal ladder match that ended with Rhodes hitting an Alabama Slam on Owens through a ladder. Rhodes would then climb another ladder and retrieve both his title and The Winged Eagle WWE title belt. Jackie Redmond would announce on the post show that Rhodes was dealing with
In a new Instagram story, Cody revealed he had spent essentially two days in bed after the bout, but was ready for tonight's SmackDown in Memphis. Rhodes also said he got to keep a promise to his daughter in the days following the event.
