Cody Rhodes Says His Story Is Getting Knocked Down And Getting Back Up On 10/30 WWE Raw

Cody Rhodes says he's back on track ahead of WWE Crown Jewel.

Roman Reigns stopped Cody Rhodes from finishing the story at WrestleMania 39, and "The American Nightmare" has been busy filling other chapters ever since. He is currently locked in a heated feud with The Judgment Day (Damian Priest, Finn Balor, Dominik Mysterio, and Rhea Ripley). At WWE Crown Jewel, Rhodes will face Damian Priest in a singles match.

On the October 30 episode of WWE Raw, Cody Rhodes made the save when The Judgment Day ganged up on Sami Zayn and Jey Uso. He then grabbed a microphone and targeted Priest with a heated message.

"Hey, Damian. Last week, you took a steel chair, you wrapped it around my ankle, and you tried to take me out. You were unsuccessful. I got back up because that’s what my story is, the guy who gets knocked down and gets back up. What’s your story? 6’6, 20-year pro? You got a briefcase that you are this close, within a whisper of immorality, yet you’re not the leader of The Judgment Day? It’s because you’re a walk-behinder. You walk behind Finn Balor, you walk behind Rhea Ripley, and you even walk behind Dominik Mysterio. When you think it’s somebody else, when you’re like, ‘Oh, maybe it’s not Cody Rhodes,’ you need to know something, Damian Priest. It’s always me. I’m back on my path, and this Saturday, at Crown Jewel, my path goes straight through you," Cody Rhodes said.
