Current Impact Champion Austin Aries Returns To Ring Of Honor, Wants ROH TV Title

Current Impact Wrestling Champion Austin Aries showed up on Ring of Honor TV Friday night and laid down a challenge.

Aries appeared for Ring of Honor for the first time since 2015, when he showed up at the conclusion of the ROH 16th Anniversary television title match. Aries would challenge champion Kenny King, who was able to defeat Silas Young to retain his championship.

Aries came out with several championships in tow, including the Impact World Championship, Defiant Championship, IPW:UK World Championship, Impact Grand Championship and the WSW Heavyweight Championship. This marks the first time an Impact Wrestling contracted wrestler has appeared on ROH TV in recent memory.

No date was set for the challenged match, but ROH's next major show would be ROH Supercard of Honor, which takes place next month during WrestleMania weekend.
