Daddy Magic reflects on 2023.
Daddy Magic Matt Menard started the year as a member of the Jericho Appreciation Society alongside Chris Jericho, Jake Hager, Cool Hand Angelo Parker, Sammy Guevara, and Daniel Garcia. The group formed in 2022, but rifts began forming in 2023, leading to the eventual split of the group in August.
Appearing on Good Karma Wrestling, Daddy Magic was asked about his 2023.
"It wasn't the year I was necessarily expecting. I didn't see the end of the Jericho Appreciation Society coming. I don't know how you feel watching the product, but it felt to me, when the year started off, I didn't think it would be over already. I didn't see that happening. I would say the last couple of months have been pretty awesome. The tournament with Garcia. Everything that we've been doing, getting back together with Hager. It's been an absolute blast," he said.
Daddy Magic has been trying to give Daniel Garcia advice as he continues to lose in the AEW Continental Classic.
Garcia will face Brody King in his final Continental Classic match on Saturday.
