Daniel Garcia lost the AEW TNT Championship to Adam Cole at AEW Dynasty, ending his reign at 134 days.
Daddy Magic was adamant that Garcia didn't need to prove anything in the bout as Cole failed to beat him on two prior occasions. Their first bout ended with interference and the second bout ended in a time limit draw.
Despite Daddy Magic's advice, Garcia moved forward with the rubber match at AEW Dynasty, agreeing to no interference and no time limit in the bout.
After the loss, Daddy Magic tried to console Garcia by telling him to put his ego and pride aside.
