Priest came to the ring on the June 24 episode of WWE Raw and looked forward to facing Rollins. He said that as long as he had the title, Rollins would never reach the mountaintop again. Rollins came down and told Priest that he didn't believe him, as his actions didn't match his words. He noted that Priest had said he wanted to stand on his own, but he needed outside interference to retain the title. Rollins then issued a challenge to sweeten the pot for their match at WWE Money in the Bank.

Rollins said that if he lost, he would never again challenge for the title as long as Priest had it. However, he said that if Priest lost, he would have to leave the Judgment Day. Priest agreed to the stipulation and said the Judgment Day needed him more than he needed them.

Gunther then interrupted and made it clear that he was looking forward to the match between Rollins and Priest, as he would be facing the winner at WWE SummerSlam. Gunther earned a title shot by winning the King of the Ring tournament.
