As the reigning WWE United States Champion, Damian Priest seems locked into a match with the reigning WWE Intercontinental Champion Shinsuke Nakamura for WWE Survivor Series.
However, if that is the plan, Priest doesn't seem to know about it just yet.
“I still don’t know what I’m going to do at Survivor Series, but I believe I will play a big role as the United States Champion against someone from SmackDown," Priest told Planeta Wrestling (translation via Luis Pulido). "I feel like I am a person of importance on my brand, Raw, and I know a lot of people changed brands on the Draft and they value that change. For me, I started on Raw and I am still here, and I am proud to represent Raw. So, against anyone and anything that may be coming, I will go hard in order to represent the brand.”
While some Champion vs. Champion matches have been made official for Survivor Series, the US Champion vs. Intercontinental Champion is not one of them.
Priest has been part of the recent WWE UK Tour and last wrestled on television in a No DQ match against T-BAR.
