In the past month, Damian Priest has shown a new side to his character.
Priest, who has mainly portrayed a fun-loving rockstar who likes to party and have a good time, has gotten more aggressive in the ring and in segments.
Speaking on Rise & Grind, Priest explained the new direction of his character.
"It is a new attitude because I'm showing something different. I like to describe it, we all have it in us to be good or bad. We consciously make a decision to choose one. I'm just letting actions and circumstances dictate what comes out of me now. If you disrespect me, you're probably going to get the other side of me that's not so nice. I'm a nice guy, I'm a good dude, but I can get dark and that's what I'm showing off now. You push me to the other side, you're not going to like it," he said.
Priest's new direction started with a match that ended in a DQ against T-BAR and continued in a No DQ match against T-BAR on the November 1 episode of WWE Raw.
Priest is coming off a victory over Apollo Crews on Monday's WWE Raw. You can find full results from the show by clicking here.
