Danhausen seemingly offers to be CM Punk's opponent at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door.
CM Punk made his return on the June 17 episode of AEW Collision, and he scored the win in his first match ssince September 2022, as he and FTR (Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler) defeated Jay White, Samoa Joe, and Juice Robinson. Fans have been speculating about Punk's potential match at the Forbidden Door pay-per-view, and Fightful Select reports that the planned bout between the former world champion and KENTA is no longer happening.
In a tweet, Danhausen said he would face "Pepsi Phil" at the "Foreboding Door" pay-per-view. However, Danhausen noted that he is still injured, so "Pepsi Phil" would have to lay down and let him get the pinfall victory.

Danhausen has been sidelined with an injury since the AEW Revolution pay-per-view on March 5; he revealed that he suffered a torn pectoral. It is not known when he will return to the ring.
Punk and Danhausen are known to be friends, and they have publicly interacted on a number of occasions. Punk previously confirmed that Danhausen has no nipples.He also endorsed Danhausen using the GTS.
