Daniel Bryan missed his daughter's first birthday.
In the time between Daniel Bryan's injury and his return earlier this year, he and his wife Brie Bella had a daughter named Birdie. On the Bella Twins YouTube channel, Bryan spoke about what he has missed since going back to wrestling full-time.
"It's so good to be back doing what I love but it's also really hard. It's a blessing and a curse because when we were in Saudi Arabia I was away from home for 10 days, home for 3 days, and now in Europe for 18 days. You add that all together, in the last month I've only been home for 3 days. I missed my baby's first birthday. I missed her saying 'dada' for the first time. I missed Mother's Day," said Bryan. "It's about finding a balance. That's what I have to work on," he added.
Bryan also said his experience is different this time because of his daughter. He said when he and Brie were both wrestling they would miss each other but missing his daughter is a different feeling.
