Daniel Bryan has revealed his wife Brie Bella's reaction to his recent Strap Match with "The Fiend" Bray Wyatt at the 2020 Royal Rumble.
In a WWE digital exclusive, Daniel Bryan said that after his Strap Match with “The Fiend” Brian was FaceTiming with Bella and their daughter, Birdie Joe, and traditionally, Birdie asks to see Bryan’s “wrestling boo-boos,” however, this time Brie Bella had to step in.
“After every loop of wrestling, Birdie always says, 'Daddy, let me see your boo-boos,” recalls Bryan. “I was about to show my boo-boos and Brie cut me off and she said, 'I'm sorry, sweet girl, it's too much.' Then, she looked at me and she said, 'it's all too much.’”
Bryan would go on to acknowledge that he does love professional wrestling all too much, however, he hopes that it's a level of passion his daughter can one day feel about something in her life.
He continued, “And so we got off the phone, we told each other that we loved each other and then, you get to thinking, 'is it possible that I just all of this too much?' Short answer, yes. Long answer, I pray [that] my daughter finds something that she loves as much as I love this.”
Daniel Bryan and Brie Bella are expecting a second child and they will also become an Aunt and Uncle once more when Nikki Bella gives birth to her first child later this year.
