Daniel Bryan shares his thoughts on "Big Cazz".
The 2018 WWE 'Superstar Shake-Up' saw the shifting of superstars from RAW to SmackDown Live. There were also a few returns to WWE programming mixed in the shuffle of the shake-up as well as exampled by the return of Big Cass. Big Cass suffered a torn ACL during the summer of 2017 and was off camera and out of the ring until April of this year. He reemerged onto the scene and immediately hopped into a feud with the then-newly cleared Daniel Bryan.
The two men were involved in program with one another for two months coming out of WrestleMania 34 and had a singles match at both the 'Backlash' and 'Money In The Bank' PPV's. Two days after the 'Money In The Bank' PPV Big Cass was released from his WWE contract and would remain off the radar until it was announced earlier this month that he would be making his first post-WWE appearance for the 'Big Time Wrestling' promotion in September. The man who had the opportunity to work with Cass from the time Cass returned to his departure from the company was Daniel Bryan. During a recent appearance on the 'Sky Sports Lockup' podcast, Bryan shared his thoughts on the man now known as "Big Cazz".
“I really liked wrestling Big Cass." Bryan said. "I thought he progressed a lot in the time that we were working together and so I honestly wish him the best of luck. I like him a lot as a person and as a wrestler so I hope he does very well”.
Big Cass will also be making an appearance for the CWL promotion. For more information on that, click here.
