Since the start of AEW, four young talents have emerged as the future of the company and were reference by MJF on AEW Dynamite.
The four pillars of AEW have been identified as MJF, Darby Allin, Sammy Guevara, and Jungle Boy. All four have already had varying success in AEW with MJF and Jungle Boy challenging for the AEW World Title and Allin and Guevara holding the AEW TNT Championship.
Speaking at the AEW Panel at New York Comic Con 2021, Allin commented on what it means to be one of the four pillars.
"It's nice that you get such young guys that are so determined to show the wrestling world what is up and give the platform at AEW, we can sink or swim on our own and these are the guys that have chosen to swim. There are a lot of people there that don't take the ball and run with it, so I think it shows every week that us four are very very hungry," he said.
Allin is currently locked in a feud with MJF and was taken out by MJF and The Pinnacle on the October 6 episode of AEW Dynamite.
