When Sting came to AEW in December 2020, he was almost immediately paired with Darby Allin.
Sting and Allin have been aligned ever since on and off screen as Sting has helped guide Darby throughout his AEW career.
Speaking on Hardcore Haven, Darby explained how he's helped Sting in AEW.
"He's not jumping off ladders because of me," Allin said with a laugh. "I think what he's learned from me is how to navigate his way through the new roster. I can tell him what people are all about. He had no idea when he first got to AEW. 'Who is this guy? Who is this guy?' I'm a good navigator for him to give the lay of the land."
Sting jumped off a ladder through multiple tables on the June 28 episode of AEW Dynamite, but had an awkward landing. Fortunately, he was okay.
Allin was in action on Wednesday's AEW Dynamite, teaming with Orange Cassidy in a loss to Daniel Garcia & Sammy Guevara in the Blind Eliminator Tag Team Tournament.
